Nedelkov, Ljupčo. Rites of Passage in the Life Cycle of the Macedonians in Tikveš. Skopje: Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, 2014, 252 pp.
The study “Rites of Passage in the Life Cycle of the Macedonians in Tikveš” is an extensive study dedicated to an exceptionally important segment of human life – the life of the individual from birth to death, processed through the theoretical prism of rites of passage, a well-known and widely used methodology worldwide. The theoretical analysis that provides the basis for the research is realized on the basis of rich field material collected in Tikveš during the author’s several years of empirical research (Risteski 2014: 134). The study is conceptualized in three main content blocks: birth, wedding and death. Birth, wedding and death as crisis moments in the life of every person are the reason for undertaking specific ritual actions in order to establish a new social balance in the social community at a microcosmic level. The family structure should be reorganized during ritual activities so that it is not disrupted in a negative sense.

Nedelkov, Ljupcho. The National Costume of the Vlachs and Sarakatsani in Macedonia. Skopje: Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, 2009, 220 pp.
The study dedicated to the folk costume of the Vlachs and Sarakatsani in Macedonia intertwines two specific fields of research and knowledge, one related to the folk costume, and the second related to knowledge of the ethnography of the Vlach and Sarakatsani community in Macedonia and the Balkans. More precisely, the study deals with the traditional forms of the folk costume and its development among the Vlachs Farsheriots, the Vlachs Karaguni and the Vlachs of Megleno. The folk costume of the Sarakatsani community in Macedonia is also discussed (Risteski 2014: 132).
