Mission
The Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology aims to educate students in the disciplines of ethnology and anthropology, as well as to conduct research connected to man, society and culture. The program of study allows students to gain general knowledge in the areas of ethnology and anthropology, as well as to profile students within specialized sub-disciplines, in accordance with their will and societal needs.
Vertical alignment of the program
Upon completion of the first cycle of study (undergraduate studies), students can continue with the second cycle of studies (graduate studies), following which students can enroll in the third cycle of studies (doctoral studies) at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology. The first and second cycle of studies are compatible with similar programs abroad, as such students can enroll in second or third cycle of studies at other universities outside of R. Macedonia.
Horizontal alignment of the program
The program allows for horizontal alignment with other disciplines and programs through elective subjects. In accordance with their interests and requirements of specialized profiling, students can choose elective subjects from other faculties and universities with which there exists a signed decision for such cooperation.
