Program of graduate studies in ethnology and anthropology

The study program of graduate studies in ethnology and anthropology consists of a 1-year long academic program, with 60 ECTS, aimed to educate and train in research and professional work in the areas of ethnology and anthropology. Upon completing the study program, students gain the title of Master in Ethnology and Anthropology, as well as integrated knowledge required for research and professional work in the respective fields.

Financing

Candidates enroll as regular students with private financing. The tuition is 1,500€ (in denars based on the middle exchange rate of the NBRM. The tuition includes the defense of the master thesis.

Enrollment criteria

The conditions and criteria for enrollment at the St. Cyril and Methodius University are prescribed by the Rectorate of the University in alignment with legal proscriptions and recommendations from the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Republic of Macedonia. Individuals with completed undergraduate studies (with a minimum of 240 credits) can enroll in the graduate program of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology.

[1] For monitoring and implementation of the Practical Work/Internship for each student separately, the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology determines one of the subject professors. The project assignment/internship of 90 hours of work, the students will implement in the Archives and Library of the Institute or within the framework of scientific research or application projects implemented by the Institute, but also in appropriate organizations related to the scientific field studied by the student.
